Let's Keep Our Snow to Ourselves

One of our residents just posted this message:

"I would appreciate Suncrest residents NOT snowblowing their snow onto the streets. It's really dangerous for some cars to hit this huge pile of snow and spin out. It's hard for cars to get thru that snow. PLEASE DO NOT SNOWBLOW OUT INTO THE STREETS. Thank you."

Please be considerate of everyone in the community by NOT snowblowing the snow into the streets. The plows are usually done by the time the snowblowers come out so there's nobody to come along and clean it up. It makes a dangerous layer of ice on the streets.

AMEN! I almost slammed into an illegally parked Bobcat yesterday because people had blown snow into the road. Driving my daughter to her piano lesson was a hazardous trip.

It is really dangerous. If you own a car that has a hard time in the snow, it makes things even worse.

I'm actually friends with one of the Suncrest/Draper city plowers and he hates it too. It's actually against city ordinances to do that.

It is also ILLEGAL to snow blow into the street! It is not just a matter of being a thoughtful neighbor, it is a huge danger, and if your snow blowing causes an accident, welcome to being liable!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
