Would you like to learn more about how to prevent crime in the SunCrest community? Join your neighbors at the Night Out Against Crime. SunCrest resident and Corporate Security Consultant, George Dew (see his bio below), will be giving a 30 minute presentation on ways to secure your home with inexpensive and effective techniques. Draper City Crime Prevention Specialist Gary Howell will also be in attendance offering information and tips on how to organize neighborhood watch programs. Mark your calendars and be sure to attend this educational evening. Refreshments will be served.
About George Dew

George Dew graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a BA in biochemistry. Following graduation, he served six years as a Navy SEAL at SDV Team ONE in Coronado, California, and SEAL Team FOUR in Little Creek, Virginia. After his Navy service, he received an MBA from Georgetown University, and then went to work in corporate finance on Wall Street. Shortly thereafter, he left Wall Street to serve as an operations officer in the Central Intelligence Agency. In 1998, he joined the Ackerman Group, a corporate security company specializing in negotiating kidnap & ransom cases, resolving extortions, death threats, providing executive protection, and assisting in physical security issues. He speaks Spanish, some French and Cantonese.

Dress in your costume and come out and celebrate Halloween the SunCrest way! This event will kick off with Trunk-or-Treating in the Community Center parking lot at 2:00pm. If you would like to decorate your trunk and hand out candy for the Trunk-or-Treat, please be set up in the Community Center parking lot by 1:50pm. Following the Trunk-or-Treat at 2:30pm in the Information Center tasty cookies and punch will be served and magician Paul Brewer will perform a fantastic magic show with a live rabbit!
