Store Hours will be from 10-6 over the next couple of weeks as they liquidate their inventory. Stop by to say good-bye and get some good deals on groceries this week and next.
See previous post (Letter from the Market) for more details.
So very sorry to see you go. As a seven year Suncrest resident, I've had about enough of moving backward. The store was my savior during the fall and winter months. This is a mistake, but thank you anyway for all you gave to us.
I whole-heartedly agree. Re-posting this from an earlier thread in hopes of an answer... Will the market re-open with a new investor, next year, perhaps? I understand the financial issues, but it seems like a big loss to current and future suncrest residents for the market to close permanently. Zions bank is aware of how much we all need the market from the July 1 meeting, correct? Will they be making sure that any new developer is aware of the situation?
Sorry about the late response. Everything depends on the new developer and since we still don't know who that is, we cannot begin to guess at what will happen in the future.
Zions Bank is very much aware of how the residents feel about the market, both from our meeting with them, and from Jake and Jerry meeting with them. Zions has/will share this information with the top two potential developers, and I would hope that they wil see the benefit (property values) of re-opening the market.
Once we know who the new developer is, rest assured that we will do what we can to meet with them and make sure that the concerns of the residents are taken into consideration.

Thanks for your questions and comments.

Thank you, DeLaina. It's comforting to know that there is at least a possibility of the market re-opening at some point.
