To All,
As I was afraid of, the dumpsters are overflowing. We specifically informed everyone that it was first come, first serve-and once it was full-nothing more could be deposited. (Especially not left on the ground next to the dumpster)
Right now they are unloading the excess trash from the top of the dumpster before they can even remove it. We will have to pay to get another dumpster to remove the excess trash, and then load it up. (I don’t know anyone else that has to go in to work, and load up someone else’s trash for them like we will have to (again).)
We can no longer provide this service because it was a privilege that was abused.
I am really disappointed.

It's a shame that the actions of the few result in the loss of this service for the many!
Wow! It's really amazing that adults have so much trouble following the rules (or using common sense!)
We didn't get to use the dumpster this time. Guess we missed our chance!
It is a shame that someone had to take time off work to clean up, however, I am glad that people took the time to clean up their yards and garages. It just shows me their still is some pride of ownership. I do think that one dumpster for so many residents was pretty unrealistic, if ever there is a next time maybe consider several dumpsters
Lesli-Just to clarify a bit...there was a dumpster in July, which was so overflowing, that the OA had to order another dumpster just to discard the excess trash. Also-the little black market dumpster was filled to maximum capacity at that time as well. (Which, of course, was not supposed to be used as community clean-up, because it was the Markets, but it was filled to capacity, none the less.) This is the 4th dumpster that the OA has had since July. Unfortunately, Draper City only allows 1 dumpster annually per Owners Association, and Mary had do some finagling just to get the ones we got, otherwise, it would be terrific to have 10 dumpsters available:-)
This is the second time that the dumpsters have been over-filled with garbage left on the ground, and the OA has had to clean it up, so I hope that sheds some insight into the process and the reaction
