These flyers are being taped to homeowner's doors in neighborhoods in SunCrest. There is no company name or contact information for the "Curb Painters". Draper City has been contacted and there has been no permit or license issued to anyone to paint address numbers/logos on curbs. Also, the guidelines of the OA do not permit this type of thing.
If you see the "Curb Painters" at work, please contact the OA at 801-572-1233 so they can let them know that this is not allowed in SunCrest. Thanks!

They just came to my house on Longbranch Dr. I told them they are not allowed to paint our curbs and they said they are working with Suncrest HOA and that the HOA contacted them to come do the curb painting. I confirmed with the HOA, and they did not authorize the curb painters to come here. Also, they say it is illegal to even live in a house without the address visible on the curb. That is totally not true. Our address is visible on our house and that's all you need.

It seems that whoever is doing this has been playing the game for a while, and knows how to go about it...not putting a name or contact info on the flyers, attempting to scare residents into paying them to do the painting by using the "illegal" ploy, and saying they were contacted by the OA to do the soliting. Wow.
Make sure your neighbors know to watch out for them too. We would all hate to see someone have to remove the numbers after the fact because they were scammed and lied to.
