Are You Ready?
Unified Fire Authority is offering this class to the public, which is designed to educate the citizens of Salt Lake County about disaster awareness and emergency preparedness. This free class lasts approximately 2.5 hours and will discuss the following topics:
• Disaster Awareness
• Individual and Government responsibilities for being prepared
• Family Communication Plans
• Disaster Supply Kits
• Shelter, Evacuation, and the Emergency Alert System (EAS)
• Basics of Emergency Response
• Skills for Disaster
• Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) and other ways to become involved in your neighborhood.
• Much, much, more!!!
